Comfortable clothing should be worn daily, like shorts/tights over a leotard for dancing or shorts and a T-shirt. Once a child is permitted to do outdoor activities he or she should wear appropriate clothing at all times (gardening, hiking, etc;).

  • What kinds of shoes are needed?

All campers are required to have soft and comfortable shoes for all classes. (Shoe bottoms must be soft)

  • What clothes are needed for the Summer Arts performances?

Generally, the campers wear black or navy blue bike shorts, regular shorts, skorts or capris with a bright solid color T-shirt. Additional “costume” pieces may be needed based on each individual group project.

  • Do children need previous training in order to participate in the Prime Time program?

No previous dance, music or theater experience is necessary in order to participate in the program. All classes are designed to build skills and stimulate creativity while nurturing each individual child’s love of dance, music and related theater arts as well as unrelated activities.

  • Are there going to be any field trips?

Yes, we will be having at least, one to two field trips during the "Summer Academics/Arts Camp" program. However, parents and campers will be given the opportunity to select places for our trips as well as ushering the groups. Some places to consider will be S.A.P.A. or Naparima Bowl in San Fernando, the National Zoo in P.O.S. or even the La-Brea Pitch Lake just to name a few.

  • Are lunches provided?

Lunch is not provided, but a refrigerator, microwave, toaster-oven and sandwich maker are available for all lunches. It is suggested that lunches be brought in soft packaging or plastic bags with names appearing on the bag. Since space may be limited it is also requested that NO big lunch boxes be brought to accommodate space.

  • Are snacks provided?

Snacks and refreshments are not provided and all campers must walk with his or snacks.

  • Does your studio give the needed project supplies to the campers?

No, all campers will be given a note to take home when we are ready to do projects, so parents will know exactly what will be needed for that day. Examples are, crayons, markers, drawing pads/books, paint,  paint brushes etc.,
